mango missives

This blog contains my musings on 2 of my favorite things: books and food. ..plus the occasional randomness about other things because sometimes I just can’t control myself. I am (very obviously) not anywhere close to a professional writer, baker, or photographer…but I try.

quick facts about me:

• 30-something/married/not-quite-a-hausfrau 
• I live in the greater Boston area.
• I do not work in a field related to food, books, or writing.
• I read A LOT–I need something to do while on the train going to & from work.
• I like mangoes.
• I love cooking and baking..I’m a total amateur but I enjoy trying new recipes. I am always up for a challenge.
• I enjoy trying out new restaurants though it is often hard to resist my old faves.
• I love lists— making them, checking things off from them, feeling all accomplished (OCD much?)

I had a sweet tooth from a very young age... and yes, my younger brother really is the devil.
